During Thanksgiving of 2022, my friend Carley and I, both obsessed with Tim Burton, decided to have a girls’ night out at the Beetle House in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n\n\n

This place was like stepping into a whimsical Tim Burton movie, with every detail themed to perfection. From the decor to the food and even the staff, everything screamed Tim Burton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving for our 6pm reservation, we were ushered into a dark and spooky waiting area where we took turns sitting on a giant black throne and snapping some spooky selfies until our names were called. A few brave souls without reservations tried their luck, but most ended up running off into the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once inside the nightclub, the gothic vibes were amped up to eleven. A huge Jack Skellington head greeted us, setting the tone for the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n

We ordered our meals – quick note to my veggie pals, they have plenty of options for you too. The three-course dinner was $65 per person, which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. I had the ‘Edward Burger Hands’ while Carley went for the ‘Sweeney Steak’ – both served with souvenir scissors and razors. Not recommended: the Cheshire Mac and Cheese, unless you’re a fan of five mystery cheeses that don’t play well together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For drinks, I went all out with the ‘Big Fish’ bowl, complete with dry ice smoke and Swedish fish floating inside. Carley went for the Beetlejuice but found it a bit too sweet for her liking – sweet toothers, take note!<\/p>\n\n\n

The show was fantastic, with all the seats circling the stage floor. Beetlejuice himself played MC, and we were treated to acts like Lydia singing, Oogie Boogie dancing, and fire breathers. I won’t spoil too much but be prepared for a night full of surprises. The only downside? The constant hat passing for tips between acts really added up, which left me digging deep into my pockets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before visiting this nightclub, it is important to note that they previously had a different location in West Hollywood, so there may be two locations listed on Google Maps. As a result, we accidentally went to the wrong bar initially and had to walk several blocks to the correct address. To avoid this, it is recommended to obtain the address directly from the website. Additionally, GET A RESERVATION in advance, as the restaurant tends to get very crowded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrance to the restaurant is not easily accessible for individuals with disabilities, as there are stairs leading into the establishment from outside. Lastly, patrons with allergies should exercise extreme caution, as the website explicitly states that they are unable to accommodate certain allergies, such as shellfish and nut allergies, in their cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
